Writer-director-DP Hurcan Emre Yilmazer was born on October 26, 1985 in Ankara, Turkey. Over the course of 10 years, Hurcan has gone from low-budget music videos to working on future films . At 12 years old, Hurcan began making short movies with his hi8 camera. While studying Visual Arts and Communication Design at Sabanci University, he started to shoot music videos, where he learned the guerrilla techniques he would later use to make his films, Following (2007), he get grand price for Extracurricular Activities Award. His works were recognized by industry leading producers that led him to movie business.
