Ege Gürel was born in Istanbul,Turkey.He has one elder brother named Tanberk Gürel.He has been acting since he was 4 years old.He began his acting career starring as Leo Zubac in the drama Tv Serie Mavi Kelebekler which remembering the Srebrenica massacre happened early 90’s.After the end of his 1st Tv Serie he start shooting Arkadasim Max Movie starring as Tonguç with the Tv Show winner Max the dog.Meanwhile he starts shooting the Comedy TV Serie Galip Dervis which knowns as Monk by the rest of the world.Starring as Yusuf Ekiz with Engin Günaydin starring as Galip Dervis and Algi Eke starring as Hülya Uçar.In the Mid-Season break he starts a new Drama movie named Sürgün starring as Ege with Saadet Aksoy starring as Eleni and Tolgahan Sayisman starring as Sedat.Galip Dervis TV Serie will start shooting 3rd Season in September.
